Separation from nature: It’s the very narrative that has served the foundation for all that is now festering, manifesting in our world as continued pain and suffering.

This happens when we tell ourselves that we exist in disconnection. Mind over body. Mankind over nature. Man, supreme over other men.

It’s bullshi*t. Therefore, toxicity leaks in. And it seeps up into every corner of our world.

The solution, then?
⭐️ A remembering ⭐️

You are nature.
You are embodied.
No separation exists from the flow “out there” and the flow within, “right here.”

Remember this.
From this space, we heal as a whole.

To be clear, I want you to stay in your light. But I want you to be able to EMBODY even more of it. Not to just reach for it as you are lifted out and away from this world, but to be grounded, centered within Self as you show up for this world in a way that matters.

Let’s be real you guys: these are BIG times. It’s not time to play small and bypass. It is time to wake tf up ❤️‍🔥

Let’s cut the crap. If you want to change your life, you have to be willing to devote yourself to the practices that matter.

I got so tired of jumping from one latest trend to the next, riding waves of “the newest and most exciting practice” before heading into the next thing. It burned me out and didn’t help me to heal much of anything.

So I sat down and I wrote out the top practices that have actually changed my life, and that I know to have actually changed the lives of individuals across millenia.

And, you can get started in practice RIGHT NOW by setting that timer, putting away all distractions, and turning your gaze inward to be with self for the next 5 minutes.

Practice 1: An Invitation to Settle into Stillness.

Practice:
Take a moment to settle into a comfortable seated position -
Cross-legged, or with your feet on the floor - it doesn’t matter.
What matters is that you find a seated, upright position that feels comfortable.
Set a timer. Perhaps for a minute, or 5 minutes.
Choose the allotted time, and press go.
Then, simply, cease all activity
as you sit in stillness.
If need be, focus on your inhale and exhale.
Or, watch your thoughts as they flow in and out.
Give your mind a simple task, if it needs it.
Otherwise, your task is as simple as it gets:
Do nothing, except sit.
Witness what flows through your consciousness.
But do not move.
Got it?
Your task is to do nothing,
except to be witness
until the timer goes off.

Take a moment to pause.
Feel your feet on the floor.
Feel your seat in your chair.
Breathe deeply, with ease, for several slow breaths.
Let your body be filled with breath:
Your lungs, your abdomen…
All the way down to your root.
Be filled with breath.

Then,
let go of your focus on your breath and body,
and open your awareness.
Listen. Receive.
What is here for you to know?
What is here for you to do?
Do not dive straight into the first thing that pops into your head.
Rather, sit for several minutes.
Breathing.
Listening.
Listen, out there.
Listen, within.
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
What do you know?
Sit still and listen.
Then, when it is time to do so, respond.
