It's official! I have all my business documents from Legalzoom and my Instructor ID from the American Heart Association. I'm grateful to Southwest CPR for training me and for their support. I started this company not because I think I'm the best, but because I was tired of waiting for someone else to fill this gap. My company uses mannequins of women of color, addressing implicit bias and cultural humility. These are my abuelitas, and although I didn't get to know them well, I talk to them frequently. They are "las brujas que nunca pudieron quemar". Ellas y todos mis antepasados me guían y me dan fuerza. ¡Las oigo, y me dicen que es tiempo de despertar y gritar resistencia!

Some of you know that my health significantly deteriorated a few years ago, and I am finally feeling better! Since moving to New Mexico, I haven't had a lipia and I have been waiting for the right...vibe. Then Colibri Corazon came up on my personal feed. I am excited to attend their collaborative event on July 19th and meet them and schedule a lipia. I love the community outreach that they have been doing. Check them out!

Wildfire Smoke & Lung Support Resource 🔥
NBWC has partnered with Colibrí Corazón to create a community resource on how to minimize wildfire smoke in your home and provide lung support using local plant medicines.

These are low-cost, culturally grounded practices to care for your air, lungs, and overall well-being during fire season.

🌿 We will also be accepting donations of plant medicines listed in the resource from credible medicine people and herbalists to help us create respiratory support packages for our community. We emphasize credible to honor the knowledge and responsibility required to harvest these medicines appropriately and respectfully.
