👀 Staring at screens all day? Your eyes are begging for this simple reset.

It’s called the 20-20-20 rule:
⏱ Every 20 minutes
🌿 Look 20 feet away (ideally at something not a screen — a window view, a plant, even a photo on the wall)
🧘 Hold it for 20 seconds

That tiny pause gives your eyes a chance to refocus, your nervous system a chance to reset, and your body a break from digital overload.

💡 Pro tip: Set a timer or pair it with sipping water so it becomes second nature.

⚠️ If stress is running the show… when does your body ever get the chance to heal?
When you’re stuck in survival mode, digestion, fertility, and even your core energy all get pushed to the back burner.

That’s why I want you to try this 3-part nervous system reset exercise:

1️⃣ Reflect on the messages you grew up with about success or failure.
2️⃣ Notice how overwhelm feels in your body — is it tightness, short breath, numbness?
3️⃣ Imagine the safety cues you’d want your future child to grow up with.

💡 Looking through that future-child lens can unlock calm for your own body, because sometimes it’s easier to choose safety when we’re doing it for someone else.

When I tell people I'm a chiropractor, they instantly sit up straighter—trying to hold some rigid, "perfect" position.

But that's not what I mean.

Sustainable posture isn't about tensing up all day. It's about gentle alignment:

✨ Elbow over hip

When your body is stacked well, your nervous system doesn't have to work overtime to hold you up.

💡 What if the missing piece isn’t another lab test, supplement, or diet… but the way your body feels safe in its own posture?

I worked with a practice member (let’s call her Sarah) who had tried everything to conceive for two years — labs, diets, acupuncture, prenatals. Nothing shifted.

The first thing we noticed? Her body was carrying tension: pelvis rotated, low back tight, shoulders rounded forward. Together, we worked on restoring alignment — not just in-office, but through small daily resets.

Here’s how to try it:
1️⃣ Bring your arms close together (elbows don’t have to touch).
2️⃣ Lift them toward the back of your head.
3️⃣ Separate your elbows wide, squeeze your shoulder blades, and let your arms float down.
4️⃣ Add breath: inhale as arms rise, hold as elbows open, exhale slowly as arms drop.

💡 Just a few rounds in the morning helps reset your posture, open your chest, and remind your body it’s safe to relax.
