The newest edition of KeiroConnect is OUT NOW! In this issue titled "Difficult Realities of Caregiving", we shared key takeaways from both of the 2025 Caregiver Conferences, the mental impact on parents caregiving for their children, how to prepare your loved ones for assisted living, and more!

Through the support of Keiro's Disaster Recovery Fund, individuals affected by the January 2025 fires were able to enjoy a day at Tanaka Farms on November 2. The 40 participants all jumped in the tractor for a farm tour, had a delicious lunch, picked blackberries and pumpkins, and shopped in the gift shop.

On Sunday, November 2nd, Keiro kicked off celebrating our 65th anniversary with community members who have helped Keiro grow to what it is today. It was fantastic to see legacy members of the community and new friendships coming together to be part of this new venture of Keiro. Cheers to 65 years and to many more years to come! Kanpai! 🥂🙇

At the 2025 Keiro no Hi Festival, presented by Kawaguchi-Kihara Memorial Foundation, we had some fun crafts and games for everyone to enjoy! Attendees made origami lanterns and stamped some postcards to send to loved ones. If you wanted a challenge, we had nostalgic games that you could play to win exclusive Keiro no Hi Festival buttons. Caregiver Conference – South Bay is TOMORROW! We are excited for all registered attendees to enjoy the presentations and robust resource fair at the conference. But before you go, here are some things that you should know:

🅿️ Parking is limited on site. Please be mindful when parking in the neighborhood and read street signs.
🌤️ The weather will be cooler in the morning, so please bring an extra layer if you are sensitive to the cold.
📝 A notebook and pen will be provided, but if you would like to bring your own, you can!
📞 If you can no longer attend due to sickness or scheduling conflicts, please contact programs@keiro.org.
