Super Bowl week was fully booked. From closing out Super Bowl Leadership Forum to Power Sports Brunch, recording an episode of Hey Boo, a photo shoot (pics to come) & getting CEUs with NFLPA, I was ready for a rest last weekend.

I’m so grateful for the progress I can see in my practice, in the shift in mental health discussions in athletic spaces and leaning into the gifts I have been given to fulfill my purpose. ✨

Acknowledging that this is the 3rd year of my book, “The Athletes Guide to Mindfulness”, is also unmatched. I love the creativity I am bringing to my field and loving how expansive this is.

This Black History Month, we celebrate Dr. Judith Joseph. A board-certified psychiatrist, researcher, and mental health advocate whose work is transforming how we understand depression, trauma, and emotional wellness in high-achieving communities.
Dr. Joseph is widely recognized for bringing visibility to high-functioning depression, reminding us that strength, success, and resilience do not cancel out the need for care, especially in Black communities where emotional pain is often carried in silence.
Through her clinical leadership, research, and public education, Dr. Joseph challenges stigma, expands access to mental health conversations, and creates space for Black people to be both strong and supported.

We’re back for Part 2! 🥇🧠

The Turner Practice is excited to welcome youth athletes back for another Mindfulness Sports Camp. A space we designed to support mental strength, confidence, and overall well-being both on and off the field.

This camp is all about helping young athletes:
• Perform under pressure
• Build positive self-talk
• Strengthen focus and consistency
• Prevent burnout and stay motivated
• Develop a healthy athlete identity
• Most importantly, have fun 😊
