March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Most LA Health Services patients get a FIT kit every year to check for colon cancer. It is a simple test you can do at home 🏠 It checks for hidden blood in your stool.
You can get a FIT kit at your clinic, pick one up at the lab, or have it mailed to you 📬
How it works:
1️⃣ Collect a small stool sample with the kit 🧪
2️⃣ Return it to the lab by mail ✉️ or drop it off 🏥
A small step like this can help find problems early 💙

🩺High blood pressure means that your blood is pushing too hard inside your blood vessels. Blood vessels carry blood and nutrients all through your body.

The only way to know if your blood pressure is high is to check it.

🥦 Eat healthy foods
🏋🏾‍♀️Move your body
💊Sometimes medicine can help lower blood pressure.

Lowering your blood pressure can help stop serious problems like heart attacks, strokes, and kidney disease.

❤️It helps you stay healthy and spend more time with the people you love.
