Saying words with “R” sounds can be difficult for children.

1. Make it fun! Pretend to be a lion roaring.
2. Find learning opportunities such as repeating the items on the grocery list.
3. Combine practice with something fun like kicking the ball.
4. Use music or television as a tool by having your child repeat a sentence or a phrase heard.
