Please join us for the first Full Moon Circle to take place at .apothika.annexe Tuesday, March 3rd at 7pm-8pm 🌕

We will be gathering to discuss and connect with the energy of this significant lunar phase, the Full Moon in Virgo, which will also be a Lunar Eclipse known as the Blood Moon. ♍️

There will be a guided meditation, tarot card reading for the group, and journaling prompts, as well as open discussion around our individual focuses for this moon.

As we approach this lunar phase, become aware of Virgo themes coming up in your life, such as around routines, daily work, physical health, and organization. Eclipses tend to break things apart…where do you feel a reset coming on? How can you balance physical health with spiritual health, boundaries with expansiveness, and work with dreams? 🔮

🧜🏻‍♀️♓️ PISCES SEASON ♓️🧜🏻‍♀️

This dreamy sign carries the energy of the mystical, and is associated with the tarot card THE MOON. 🌕

The Moon often comes up in a reading when it’s time to go inward and face our shadow or subconscious for some deep healing. Pisces is a mutable water sign, the last sign in the zodiac, reinforcing that we must go through healing emotional blockages that have been revealed to us as a result of this last journey, before we can be ready to start a new one. 💫

Pisces is also a sign of duality, represented by two fish swimming away from each other, and represented in The Moon card in several ways:
First, there is both a dog and a wolf howling at the moon. These are representative of our domestic and wild sides, both of whom come together and cry out from emotional wounds or trauma. The moon closes its eyes, not wanting to face the racket and chaos coming from the canines, afraid of becoming aware of the reason for the racket— illuminating the darkness and shedding light on what needs to be healed. In the foreground, A crustacean emerges from the water to the land, representing the subconscious emerging into conscious awareness. In the background are the two towers, who last made an appearance back in October when we went into Scorpio season with the DEATH card. These towers represent the many forms of duality we come across in the world (yin/yang, masculine/feminine, conscious/subconscious, etc) and here specifically reinforce the structures we build in our waking lives-the path that runs between the two and keeps us in balance is our spiritual path. The road seems long and emotional healing can be very intensive, but the spiritual lessons that come out of these times are invaluable and essential to our journey. 🌙

Pay attention to your dreams this Pisces season.
Keep some sort of journal, and also be aware of any childhood or past memories that come to you, even if they seem innocuous or random. Often our subconscious will reveal clues to our healing in our dreams and memories. The Moon Card and Pisces are all about things that are hidden, and mysteries unfolding. I will be available to answer any questions and to help guide you should you feel “stuck” on a reading.

For the last 15 minutes we will draw numbers to be paired with (hopefully) a stranger to trade readings. Don’t be scared! Reading for strangers is the BEST way to open up and improve your readings rapidly. Not to mention some of the best readings come from a stranger, ESPECIALLY if they’re a beginner! You might even meet a future friend. 💫

Pay what you can, no one turned away for lack of funds. All you are required to bring is an open mind and an open heart. 🧚🏻‍♀️

✨NOW IS THE TIME TO SHINE ✨

Today is IMBOLC which marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. Please join us next Sunday, February 8th as we welcome back the returning light with a REIKI SOUNDBATH ✨

REIKI is an ancient healing modality, in which an attuned practitioner channels universal life force energy (the energy that connects and flows through every living thing) through the palms of their hands to a recipient. 🤲

This transmission of energy moves through each chakra, or energy center, to clear energy blocks and promote relaxation, restoration of energy, and self-healing abilities. 💆

While I typically only work with a few private reiki clients, I am excited to offer hands-off (no touching) reiki next SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8th at the .apothika.annexe during our LIGHT OF WINTER REIKI SOUNDBATH. If you’ve been curious about reiki, it’s a great chance to check it out as we welcome back the returning light. 🌅
