The card associated with Aries is The Emperor 👑

In addition to kicking off the Spring season, Aries season is the start of a whole new astrological year, and the most ambitious sign of the zodiac. The Emperor is a card of expansion, and putting yourself out into the world. It can represent the rejection of our fathers’ ways and the desire to create a world that better reflects our sense of self. Aries is represented by the ram, and The Emperor’s throne is adorned with ram heads. 🐑 This symbolizes the determined energy of Aries, charging toward what they want and pushing past any deterrents. The colors orange and red are dominant, representing the fiery passion of Aries, who is ruled by Mars. His long white beard represents experience and wisdom, perhaps gained from the previous year and its lessons. He is seated in his concrete throne, built on discipline and tradition, yet dons his armor, ready to leap into battle at a moment’s notice. In his right hand he holds a scepter, representing his authority, power, and mastery, and i his left hand holds a golden ball, symbolizing he is ready to receive the world. Behind him, we see mountains, beckoning adventure and the long journey awaiting us in the new year. ⛰️👑

Tarot Club is open to all kinds of divination practice! Want to practice your rune or astrology or pendulum reading? We’re all here to learn, geek out, practice, make friends, and build community. 💫

There is also space if you’d like to just relax, eat snacks, and do some solo study. 🖤

Tarot Club is where tarot readers of all levels can come together in a safe and supportive space to practice reading, connect with community, and geek out about all things tarot.

BYO tarot deck! The Apothika has many amazing decks for sale if you are looking to purchase one that speaks to you (myself and Vicky would be happy and honored to assist you in finding one).

TAROT CLUB IS FOR:

🔮 People of all levels and approaches to tarot

🔮 Practicing tarot reading

🔮 Trading tarot readings

🔮 Meeting other tarot readers

🔮 Discussing and learning about tarot

🔮 Creating community and supporting each other

TAROT CLUB IS NOT FOR:

🚫 Bullies

🚫 Pushing personal beliefs, ideologies, or agendas onto others

🚫 Meeting with tarot clients

The first 45 minutes will be free-form—get to know people, bring a friend to practice tarot with, do some solo study, etc! I will be available to answer any questions and to help guide you should you feel “stuck” on a reading.

For the last 15 minutes we will draw numbers to be paired with (hopefully) a stranger to trade readings. Don’t be scared! Reading for strangers is the BEST way to open up and improve your readings rapidly. Not to mention some of the best readings come from a stranger, ESPECIALLY if they’re a beginner! You might even meet a future friend. 💫

Pay what you can, no one turned away for lack of funds. All you are required to bring is an open mind and an open heart. 🧚🏻‍♀️

The full moon in Virgo / lunar eclipse asks us to look at the many containers in our lives—from our bodies to our personal boundaries, our homes to our work. It is the sign of the Virgin, a symbol of purity. The mercurial energy of Virgo allows us to sort and purify all areas of our lives as a means to find our pure purpose, and how we manifest that purpose in our day-to-day through our daily work, routines, and service. ✨

Remember that your work isn’t only what you do for money, but what you are doing at any given moment as a pure channel of something higher. It is through our thoughts, words, and actions that we can be of service to those around us, our communities, and the world. 🕊️
