Do you know that psychotherapy is the most ancient way for treatment of mental illness especially depressive disorder which stems from traumatic events or experiences?
Do you even know that psychotherapy is simply the treatment of mental illness by verbal communication and interaction only?
Do you know that through communication and interactions, one can expand his MODEL of the world thereby allowing him more OPTIONS for future behavior?
So why do you think or believe psychotherapy doesn't work any longer? because you have been from one wrong program to the other. From one inexperienced practitioner to the other or simply from therapists who are unable to set clear goals with you nor ever worked to achieve any.
Let me tell you for free. Psychotherapy until this day is still the bloodlife of mental health. Till today, it's the only surviving natural remedy for mental illness. Simply put: it's the only antidepressant without side effect!
However, when people come to us as a people-helper, we offer those people who come to us an experience which they may use to change their lives and to enjoy the fullness of living. We achieve this through set of TOOLS created through simple overview of human processes called MODELLING.
A number of people in the history of civilization have made this point - that there is an irreducible difference between the world and our experience of it. We as human beings do not operate directly on the world. Each of us creates a representation of the world in which we live - that is, we create a MAP or MODEL. Our representation of the world determines to a large degree what our experience of the world will be, how we will perceive the world, what choices we will see available to us as we live in the world.
Remember, No two human beings have exactly the same experiences. The model that we create to guide us in the world is based in part upon our experiences. Each of us may, then, create a different model of
the world we share and thus come to live in a somewhat different reality.
We want to make three points here. First, there is a necessary difference between the world and any particular model or representation of the world. Second, the models of the world that each
of us creates will themselves be different.
Third, psychotherapy with clear goals and highly experienced therapist heal mental conditions through MODELING.
