NeuroMuscular Stretch Therapy

NeuroMuscular Stretch Therapy I offer Neuromuscular Stretch Therapy. Think of it as an integration of good bodywork(myofascial mas A lot is involved in what I do.

In a nutshell I integrate physical therapy techniques with myofascial release bodywork. It is really about gaining as much information as possible in order to come up with an efficient treatment plan. I analyze static posture from all angles to give me an idea of overt imbalances that might be corroborated by my further biomechanical analysis. From the postural assessment I get verbal information by having the patient give me a history of injuries, work habits, sleeping habits etc. From here I move on to the table analysis. I check for restrictions in the joints by analyzing passive joint mobilization range of motion. If I feel that stretching can be done efficiently then I will start the stretch therapy. If I feel there is some spasm or adhesive fascial restriction that is preventing the stretch from being effective then I will work with deep tissue bodywork to release those restrictions. I will go back and forth with the stretch and bodywork until the session is over. I have found that this approach is the most effective and efficient.

If both lines are elevated on the same side, the client typically will have a C1 (atlas) rotation on the high side (Image 2). Due to the convex-convex A-A condylar surfaces, as C1 right rotates...
