Here’s our completed case. We used a steel mesh to protect her denture from cracking, because her opposing teeth are natural, they will exert strong natural forces against it.
Four implants were placed for ultimate denture retention and stability.

What They Didn't Teach Us in School

Let's follow this case to completion in a few weeks:
•The selection of Dentsply Sirona teeth will give our patient the maximum esthetic appeal.
•I prefer to set the denture teeth myself, instead of the dental lab.
• We will utilize a stainless steel mesh to reinforce the new upper denture and prevent fracturing. This will take into account the patient’s strong biting forces of the opposing natural lower teeth.
•We will place four implant housings in the denture to snap it into place.

Best Wishes on Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all!
On Friday afternoon I was at UCLA for a 4 month followup testing for my Prostate Cancer remission. So far, so good, living with fear every 4 months.

I celebrated Father’s Day on Saturday. I finally treated myself, and had my golf swing analyzed. It’s been on my bucket list for a long time. I treated myself to a new driver and recommended golf balls!

For dinner, l enjoyed my favorite sashimi dinner with my family!

To all the Dads, please enjoy your day to the fullest!!!

Rosa and Kim graduated alongside me 39 years ago in 1986!
