Mobile Med Test

Mobile Med Test Covid-19 Detection and Prevention Mobile Med Test provides screening and testing for Coronavirus or Covid-19. We draw blood for antibody testing.

Our test looks for active viral infection or antibodies to the virus. Our service is entirely mobile, and we can come to your office or home. Our tests are painless and more comfortable than the painful back of the nose swabs. Our swabs are soft, and we swab the middle part of the nose. The test samples or Covid-19 PCR are processed through a sterile laboratory. Antibodies can indicate prior exposure, but at this juncture, the medical community does not know if antibodies mean prior exposure. Our tests are highly sensitive and specific. Our tests are reliable and accurate. Our turn around time is very fast, usually within 1-2 days. The turn-around-time for antibody testing is about one to two days. We treat adult patients and kids. Pediatric patients can be tested. We offer vaccination for influenza or flu virus. We can do on the spot flu testing. We can do on-site strep throat testing. We specialize in treating frontline workers, essential workers, and those who are out working in our community and getting exposed during the global pandemic. If you wish to boost your immune system, we offer vitamin therapy. If you are experiencing signs of illness, make sure you isolate yourself from others until you can be tested and cleared to return to activities. Please notify anyone you have been in contact with so that they can be tested. If you make us aware of those who have been exposed, we can assist with contact tracing.

COVER UP when you go out. Hazmat suit is the best 🤣 but unless your working in the hospital (or the White House) you probably don’t have one! Shields, glasses, mask 😷...coverage protects, the more the better. Outside may be safer than inside, but you can walk though “Covid Clouds” anywhere people are congregating and breathing 😤
Take off outer wear when you get home, you can carry Coronavirus into your house on your shoes or clothes and inhale it later when you don’t expect it! If you need Coronavirus testing call us at Mobile Med Test https://mobilemedtest.com/

Thank god for the warm weather, but as it starts to get cooler how will we stay mentally healthy? With the world so uncertain right now, it’s easy to get down sometimes. Activities and interactions help feed our mental health. Learning a new skill or starting a hobby can keep our minds busy and give us something to look forward to. A household project or balcony garden can give us something to work on everyday. One thing I have actually enjoyed during this time are my text chains with friends and family! It almost feels like everyone is together when we can all chime in and lift one another up... there seems to always be a “ping” there when you need it! What do you do if you wake up with a fever? It’s a good idea to have some Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen in the house for this reason. Kids should NOT take aspirin for fever. Don’t bundle up to sweat out a fever. Your skin will feel cold but the blood around your vital organs is HOT. Covering up traps the heat in and will make the fever last longer. Sometimes it takes a few doses of fever medicine to reduce the fever... sometimes fever can last days despite treatment. Fever itself isn’t dangerous. Don’t be afraid, treat the fever so you feel better and keep your eyes open for new or progressive symptoms like shortness of breath or increasing or unrelenting pain. This could be a sign of an infection that needs to be evaluated by a medical professional. If you need to get tested for Covid-19 or Flu or if your office has an exposure, please contact us at Mobile Med Test!

If you develop a cough or congestion, a pulse oximeter is a good tool to have in the house. It can measure the amount of oxygen in your blood with a tiny red light and tell you if your lungs are providing your body with enough oxygen. You can order one on Amazon, Walmart, etc. to have in the house just in case you need it. Since it measures your oxygen with every heart beat, you will also be able to see your heart rate. This is important because a persistently high heart rate can be a sign of fever, infection or dehydration. Contact us with your COVID-19 testing or flu vaccination needs.

What is happening in Washington and in the NFL right now is an unfortunate demonstration of the differences in the quality of the rapid Antigen tests and the lab PCR tests. The PCR tests the inside of the nose and gets sent to the lab so that the virus gets magnified. The rapid Antigen tests sacrifice accuracy for speed. It’s nice to get a rapid test back and have results right away..but PCR tests will usually find virus 3 days earlier than the rapid test will. Think of how many people you can save from exposure if you know 3 days sooner. Beware of false negative results especially in the early days of an exposure. That test may not have been accurate enough to find it and for the best protection, you should isolate and retest.

Now is the time to prepare for Winter of 2020! Have a plan for if you were to wake up feeling sick. It’s good to have a few prepared meals in the freezer and a couple extra TP rolls, if you can get your hands on some!🤣 Try to find a way to get a little sunshine and a little exercise each day. Vitamin D has been shown to improve our immune systems’ function. Don’t forget the Flu shot this year! Please call or message Mobile Med Test if we can help. Stay safe, stay strong!
