URGENT: Help Marcial Get Home by Valentine’s Day

Marcial set a goal: go home this Saturday—Valentine’s Day. And by George, I believe he’s going to make it. We just need one final push to get the equipment and transportation required for his safe return home.

We need $400 by Saturday.
That’s it. Small gifts add up fast.

If you can give $5, $10, or $25, or simply share this, you’re helping turn a milestone into a homecoming. Please help us reach his goal—and thank you for standing with Marcial when it matters most.

Marcial Bolina McCarthy Cable is an Army veteran, a brain cancer survivor (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma), an LGBTQ+ activist, and a lifelong women’s rights advocate who has spent decades standing up for others.

Now, he needs help.

Marcial’s GoFundMe is at 68% today, and we’re asking for another push. I know money is tight for so many people right now—that’s why we’re focusing on small, powerful acts of support that add up fast.

Here’s what your help does right now:

$5 — Helps cover daily recovery essentials

$10 — Supports transportation, meals, and care costs that add up quickly

$25 — Directly helps with rehab needs and getting Marcial closer to coming home

After a month in the hospital—fighting infection and internal bleeding—Marcial is finally showing real progress since his stroke. He’s eating full meals again. He’s walking half the ward. He is tenacious, and he is not giving up.

This is the moment when small donations create real momentum.

If you’re able:

Please donate $5, $10, or $25

Please share this post

And if GoFundMe https://gofund.me/8cf3307b isn’t the easiest, you can also contribute via VENMO:

Every dollar matters.
Every share matters.
Every bit of support helps carry Marcial toward recovery and home.

Thank you for standing with us when it matters most. ❤️

Marcial Cable 10-year brain cancer survivor, is still in the hospital, but there’s finally progress. After being treated for an infection and internal bleeding, he went from eating just 25% of his blended meals and taking two steps… to eating 100% and walking half the ward yesterday.

Marcial's next stop will be a skilled nursing facility so he can continue rehab and work toward coming home.

If you’re able to help, these are the real needs right now:
• $28 – Uber trips to visit him
• $140 – Replace the phone the hospital lost
• $340 – Ambulance transport
• $33 – A haircut to help him feel human again

Every share. Every dollar. Every bit of support matters more than you know.
Thank you for standing with Marcial. 💙GOFUNDME LINK:

Read behind the scenes of the Christmas classic 'Its A Wonderful Life' on Road To Hollywood Blog today! Happy Holidays everyone.

It’s A Wonderful Life (1946) began as a short story called “The Greatest Gift”. Writer Philip Van Doren Stern was unable to sell it to a publisher, so he sent the tale out as a long Christmas card to friends.  His agent subsequently sold the fable to RKO pictures, where it went through severa...
