At just 6 months old, Dylan was regressing from key developmental milestones, like lifting her head, sitting up, or rolling over. Concerned these declines could signal a neurological issue, her pediatrician referred the family to specialists at Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s.
There, Dylan was diagnosed with hyperinsulinism, a rare condition that causes dangerously low blood sugar levels and can affect brain development if untreated.
Thanks to expert care and ongoing support, Dylan, now 2 years old, is thriving. Her parents, Michelle and Ron, are filled with gratitude for the care their daughter received at Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s.
