For nearly 20 years, Painted Brain has built safe, creative, peer-led spaces where people with lived mental health experience can connect, heal, and grow. Our work strengthens Medi-Cal programs like Enhanced Care Management and Community Health Workers, expands access to community-based support, and trains the next generation of Peer Support Specialists.

Our team, licensed professionals, certified peer supporters, and community leaders, works together to ensure people feel understood, supported, and empowered.

We believe recovery happens in community through creativity, connection, and purpose. Join us in protecting the spaces that make that possible.

This end-of-year season, Painted Brain is calling on our allies, friends, and biggest supporters to follow along, share, and give what you can. Healthcare cuts are coming and they’ll hit the people who can least afford to lose support. But together, we can protect what matters most.🧠🤝

Photo was taken during our Community Day, where we invited local residents to join one of our resident artists in painting a mural for our community center. As a mental health organization, we’re proud to support the community through creative, art-based initiatives. People of all ages and backgrounds came together to collaborate and create something truly beautiful.
