October 22 - November 3, 2026 I'll be with a small group of travelers, 10-12 of us, in Spain. Unlike larger group tours where you rush from 1 city to the next, we're stopping to savor Spain, with a few nights in several locations.
Our 1st 4 nights we'll have exclusive use of a gorgeous 8 bedroom, 8 bathroom private villa in a very small village that is a 10 minute drive from the town of Chinchon. With our villa as home base in the Madrid region we'll visit Chinchon, Toledo, Aranjuez, and the capitol, Madrid.
The next leg of the trip we stop in the Medieval city of Cuenca for a night at one of Spain's beautiful Paradors. We go on to the coastal city of Valencia for 3 nights. From there we take the train north to Barcelona for 4 nights. I can't wait to see architect Gaudi's breathtaking structures, and we're including a day trip to Montserrat.
Throughout our travels we'll have a driver and private van, as well as an es**rt, and expert guides on all our walking tours and visits to museums and historic sites.
Ah, and plenty of food and wine experiences. Including a Paella master cooking class in Valencia; a live Flamenco show with Tapas and wine in Madrid, visits to a cheese and olive oil producers, winery tour and wine tastings. All breakfast are included, as well as some group lunches and dinners. For meals on your own there'll be recommendations provided.
The itinerary includes an outing to wetlands near Valencia; several bike tour options, some gentle hiking, optional beach visit, and for those who wish to participate a few Pilates/stretch session with me.
The hotels in Valencia and Barcelona are 4 star +. There's leisure time to explore on your own, book a body treatment at the hotel spas, and of course time to shop! With insider recommendations on where to do so.
