Chest Day: Why I pre-exhaust with flies first 🦍

Pre-exhaustion isn’t about ego lifting — it’s about precision, blood flow, and fiber recruitment.

Here’s why I start chest day with flies before I push:

• Pre-fatigues the target muscle so the chest works harder on presses (not shoulders or triceps)
• Drives massive blood flow into the muscle early = better pump, better shape, better connection
• Improves mind–muscle connection so every rep actually hits chest
• Forces deeper fiber activation once you move into pressing movements
• Reduces joint strain by allowing lighter weight on heavy pushes
• Builds fuller, rounder muscle over time by exhausting fibers from multiple angles
