Chest Day: Why I pre-exhaust with flies first π¦
Pre-exhaustion isnβt about ego lifting β itβs about precision, blood flow, and fiber recruitment.
Hereβs why I start chest day with flies before I push:
β’ Pre-fatigues the target muscle so the chest works harder on presses (not shoulders or triceps)
β’ Drives massive blood flow into the muscle early = better pump, better shape, better connection
β’ Improves mindβmuscle connection so every rep actually hits chest
β’ Forces deeper fiber activation once you move into pressing movements
β’ Reduces joint strain by allowing lighter weight on heavy pushes
β’ Builds fuller, rounder muscle over time by exhausting fibers from multiple angles
Exhaust the muscle.
