For our heels readiness progression program…

All “IN HEELS” exercises should be done in the dancer’s actual new heels to condition the correct joints, soft tissues, and proprioceptors.

By following a measurable milestone framework, you can avoid skipping critical stages of preparation and develop the resilience needed for stylistic versatility and confidence in your new heels.
Keep in mind that this progression is based on readiness and control, not just time. You may spend more time in one Phase versus another…but should plan to spend at least one week on each Phase. And if you struggle at any level, you can revisit the previous Phase to reinforce foundation work. This series can be supplemented with cross-training, mobility, and alignment work for best results.

Follow Dr. Caroline’s video for each Phase and use the Program Guide PDF to assess and document your progress. Now – let’s work!
