Day One: Alexandra & Nimesh’s Sri Lankan wedding, layered with tradition, color, and intention 💛

These images are from the first of two wedding days, designed to fully honor the groom’s Sri Lankan heritage through ceremony, symbolism, and celebration.

From the beginning, they asked us to hold something very specific: a wedding that respected deep cultural traditions, balanced family expectations with care, and still felt true to who they are today.

Our role was to design and oversee the entire experience:
• translating cultural elements into a cohesive visual story
• sourcing and aligning vendors across design and production (for 2 events)
• creating structure that allowed both families to feel seen and respected
• and building a timeline that honored tradition without sacrificing ease or joy

What you see here is the result of thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a lot of intention. So the couple could stay present, and the day could unfold with grace.

Day two looked entirely different.
Same couple. Same values. A completely new aesthetic.

And that’s the beauty of a multi-day celebration done well ✨

And deepest gratitude to our amazing vendor team:

One of the hardest parts of wedding planning isn’t the budget… or the timeline… or even the guest list.

It’s the decision fatigue no one prepares you for.

You don’t just make “big” choices, you make hundreds of small ones.
Every email asks for input.
Every vendor needs clarity.
Every decision connects to five more you didn’t see coming.

A few things couples are often surprised by:

How quickly mental energy gets depleted.
Choosing between options all day: layouts, linens, timelines, wording, logistics- adds up fast. Even exciting decisions can become exhausting when they’re constant.

How much thinking happens behind moments that feel simple. What looks easy on the wedding day is the result of careful sequencing, contingency planning, and quiet problem-solving happening long before anyone arrives. Ease is designed, not accidental.

How emotional weight sneaks into practical choices.
Family dynamics, finances, expectations, and differing visions all live inside the planning process. It’s not just about what you choose, it’s about navigating how those choices affect the people you love.

This is why I believe planning should feel supported, not consuming.
You deserve space to stay present in your engagement, not spend it mentally juggling decisions late at night.

When the mental load is shared, everything feels lighter.

And the day you’re building gets to feel like a celebration, not a finish line.

This is the kind of support we believe in: sharing the mental load so planning feels steady, not overwhelming.

If you’re in the early stages and want a calmer, more intentional planning experience, you know where to find us 💛

I’ve been thinking a lot about where love stories want to be told next.

Some places just keep calling you back.

The holidays are such a beautiful time to get engaged-full of magic, emotion, and big feelings.

They’re also the moment I see couples feel the quiet pressure to do everything immediately.

So before you start booking, buying, or spiraling… here are a few gentle reminders I always share with newly engaged couples:

✨ Tell your people before you tell the internet.
Those first conversations with your inner circle matter. Let them share the joy with you before the announcements and posts.

✨ Choose your venue before choosing your dress.
Your venue sets the tone for everything: formality, silhouette, fabric, movement. When those two are aligned, everything else falls into place more easily.

✨ Set a realistic budget before signing anything.
A calm planning experience starts with clear financial boundaries. Have the honest conversations first and future you will be grateful. (I have podcast episodes and blog posts on tips for these conversations)

✨ Bring in a planner early.
Holiday engagements mean busy booking seasons. A planner helps you slow down, prioritize what matters, and avoid decisions made from urgency instead of intention.

✨ You don’t need to set a date right away.
Take a breath. Enjoy being engaged. Clarity always beats panic and the right timeline will reveal itself.

How you begin this process matters.
A thoughtful, intentional start sets the tone for a planning experience that feels grounded, supported, and genuinely joyful. And, ultimately, a wedding day that feels like you.

🤍 Save this for when the holiday excitement turns into real planning decisions.

Part two: because reflection is powerful, but so is direction.

If the first set of prompts helped you close the year with clarity, these are here to help you step into your next chapter with intention- in your life and in your business.

These are the questions I’m asking myself as a mom, a planner, and a woman building a business that supports her values-not drains them.

They’re the kind of prompts that don’t ask who you were, but who you’re becoming… and what you’re willing to believe is possible for her.

If you’re manifesting a softer season, a clearer vision, or a bolder business in 2026:
start here.

✨ Journal these.
✨ Talk through them with a friend.
✨ Say the big things out loud.

Bravery looks like naming your next chapter before it arrives.

Tag someone who’s building a life and a business you’re inspired by -accountability makes the journey more honest.

PROMPTS:

1. What am I afraid to say out loud because it feels “too big” and what if it’s not?

Sometimes the thing you want most is the thing you’re scared to name.

2. What is one aligned goal for my life… and one aligned goal for my business?

Not 10 goals. Just two. One that feels like nourishment, one that feels like growth.

3. If my success didn’t have to look like anyone else’s, what would I build next?

Freedom begins where comparison ends.

4. What beliefs about money, worth, or success am I ready to leave in this season?

Release what no longer belongs to the woman you’re becoming.

5. What daily habit or practice turns my vision into progress-not pressure?

The next version of you is built in small, consistent moments… not massive overhauls.
