Some words from one of our Last House alumni, Will. It’s truly an honor to be part of someone’s recovery journey. Men like Will are what make this community so special.

Our community is tight-knit, and our alumni play a huge role in welcoming new men into a life of sobriety and showing them what recovery can look like.

Happy Wednesday everybody — Miles

If you know Miles Sauvageau, you know he brings the energy everywhere he goes… even the porch at The Last House. 😂

Miles is our Alumni Coordinator and Admissions Counselor, and he truly loves what he does. From staying connected with alumni to helping new guys find their way into recovery, he’s always showing up for the community.

And sometimes… that energy just turns into a little porch dancing.

We’re grateful for the people who keep the spirit of The Last House alive every day.

Today we laid Oreo to rest. 🖤
More than just a dog — he was a source of comfort, calm, and unconditional love for so many guys walking through hard seasons.
Small body, huge heart.
Run free, buddy. Thank you for everything. 🐾

Wouldn’t be The Last House without a trip to the Hammer Museum 🎨
The guys checked out some incredible new exhibits, including Five Centuries of Works on Paper—featuring over 100 artists’ works and notes. But let’s be real… the classic Vincent van Gogh still stole the show.

All in all, an eventful day full of art, culture, and connection. We’ll definitely be back.

Big shoutout to Ken Struss, our Chief Growth Officer.
Ken has been instrumental in elevating our clinical partnerships, strengthening resources for our clients and families, and helping The Last House continue to grow with intention and integrity.

Leadership matters. Relationships matter. And the work shows.

What The Last House means to me:
A second chance.
A brotherhood.
Accountability, structure, laughter, and real life.
A place where boys grow into men—and no one has to do it alone.

Proud of this community. Grateful every day.

The Last House showed up to the Midnight Mission to help serve meals and support our unhoused neighbors. 🙏
We do this every year, and it’s always one of the most meaningful ways we get to give back.
Proud of our guys for showing up with heart, gratitude, and service. ❤️
