A dream true to be included with .beauty Chantecaille] and TOM FORD] 💗 In my twenties and thirties being an actress, I was able to be behind the lens where I met the lovely people behind those brands. It was always a secret dream for me to be the one creating a product of beauty. I remember being at the glamorous events at Cannes or Beverly Hills, and somehow being more enamored with the products and clothes then the celebrities. I also used to use Chantecaille] makeup and look up to the lovely Olivia. The handsome TOM FORD] was always so gracious, humble and oh so elegant. Thank you for including the saffron beauty oil in the article 🌹I like to think of what I do as an act of devotion rather than work. I hope my line can continue to bring beauty and luxury together in a way that also promotes well being 💗

This beauty oil protects your face from UV light from your phone and computer. The Star of this oil is saffron 🌹 When it comes to skin health, protecting against ultraviolet (UV) radiation is one of the best things you can do.
UV radiation promotes the production of free radicals, which causes oxidative stress. This damages your skin cells and accelerates skin aging.

We will have the full flower moon 🌝 and a lunar eclipse on May 15 💐This powerful flower moon reminds us that going from seed to bloom requires a full transformation, and that kind of rebirth isn’t always easy. The way to deeply connect with the cosmos and earth is through its bounty. Using oils, butters, essences that haven’t been sprayed with glysophyte and bastardized. I take time out during the full moon to bathe and then do a body massage with the golden sol butter or Venus amber oil. I also will do a mini facial by steaming with organic blossoms then massaging in the saffron beauty oil or rose face oil 🌹 we can use the eclipse energy to illuminate what mo longer serves us and release it. 💐 this moon is in the sign of scorpio 🐚 it represents diving deep and pulling the weeds from our emotional and spiritual gardens 🐚🌷🐚

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who are nurturerers in your life 🌿🐚🌿 some are mamas to little beings, others are to plants, animals, communities and even causes. Love is love and what will inevitably heal us all. 🌷 I started as a newly divorced, single mama who wanted to be able to be close to home to raise my two little girls. I remember reading an article about Helen Rubinstein who supposedly started her skin care brand in an apartment bathtub to support her family. That inspiration and seeing the Rose Face oil in a kundalini meditation, began my journey 8 years ago. At that time the only chic yet non toxic brand around was . I felt there was a desire for clean beauty that was derived from high vibrational oils, butters and flowers 🌸 I began taking classes and workshops on herbalism, Ayurvedic studies, and kundalini. For years I worked hard on my craft of skincare and created products from the flowers in my garden. This led to making my garage my studio and so on. A mother is an excellent problem solver. She will work tirelessly for her children and when birthing a business . . . Thank you all for all your support all these years and following me on this path 🐚🌹🐚May you walk in beauty always . . .

Oh the long winding road to creating a product 🦋 These salts were the selkie salts at one point, but the packaging became a fiasco. I was trying to stay very green and use recycled carboard tubes, but they didn’t keep the oils from leaking through. I scrapped the selkie bath salts 🧜‍♀️So then I began experimenting with what would be my dream of a bath. Being so far from my beloved ocean, I decided I would want a magnesium rich therapeutic bath that was as blue as the sea 🌊 Once I realized the color of these new salts were blue, then the sacred scents of myrrh and violet began to make their debut 🦋 Violets are connecting me deeply to the Feminine and they seem to marry the butterfly 🦋 pea flowers I’m using for detoxification in the formula. The butterfly pea flower is called Clitoria ternatea in Latin which is the most embodied flower for women 🦋 myrrh is connecting to the ancient goddesss of far away lands 🐚after deciding on these key elements I realized I could also add MSM sulfur powder since it’s something I add to my detox bath salts daily anyways. Msm is a beauty ingredient I’ve been taking for decades. I first started to take it to ease joint pain, then realized the beautifying qualities for skin and hair. 💎 so here we now have the Wild Violet Sea Salts 🌊 also if you’re a literary nut like me you’ll see the similarities to the title of one of my favorite books “The Wild Sargasso Sea” - by Jean Rhys 🌊🦋💎 image .genevieve

The sludging trend is here to stay. It actually is a great idea to bring moisture to the skin if in a really dry climate. Simply put, slugging refers to the process of sealing your skin with an occlusive agent, often petrolatum-based, overnight. The problem though with using petroleum is: It's a byproduct of the oil industry.
Its thick texture aggravates skin conditions like acne and rosacea
Its locking properties also lock in bacteria, dirt and sweat
It’s derived from crude oil and petrochemicals that are linked to cancer in their unrefined state!
It leaves a grease-like residue
It does NOT have its own moisturizing properties
It doesn’t have nutrition-adding ingredients. 🕊 so I prefer to use the Blue Butter cleansing balm which has the same effect but with the nourishing oils and butters that can be a plus to the skin.
