We are remembering Dr. Helen Garay, an anesthesiologist who served on all of our missions to Nicaragua and recently passed away in Miami. She was a trusted colleague and a deeply committed member of our medical teams. 🩺👩‍⚕️

As we round out the year, our final mission took place at the 9th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery, where the global pediatric cardiac community comes together to share knowledge, advance care, and train the next generation. 🩺🥼🇭🇰

Mending Kids used this rare moment under one roof to focus on hands-on training, equipping cardiologists with a bedside procedure that gives babies born with TGA the time they need to survive. Training saves lives. 💜🦋

On this 12/12, we’re celebrating small acts that make a big difference. Nico, an Eagle Scout, put his dedication and service to work for our kids by creating care packages that traveled with us to Mauritius and were shared with the children we mended 💜🦋🇲🇺
