Along with servicing our clients, we offer comprehensive PMU & SMP training for you to start a succesful beauty career. Advanced PMU is a Permanent Makeup facilty in Woodland Hills that specializes in permanent makeup training and services. Our various trainings and services include microblading, ombre shading, tinted lips & lip blush, PMU eyeliner, and scalp micropigmentation. These rooms come with sinks and have a beautiful lobby for your clients to wait in.

Confession from a permanent makeup artist:

I used to do microblading for years.

Then I started seeing what it does to the skin long term… and I stopped.

Microblading uses a blade that cuts into the skin,
which can create scar tissue and sometimes lead to gray, blue, or pink discoloration when pigment is implanted too deep.

After 15+ years in permanent makeup, I’ve seen thousands of healed brows and I truly believe
there are better techniques today.

Powder brows and nano hair strokes are much gentler on the skin and often give more stable long term results.

To the microblading artists out there!
I know this may be hard to hear.
I felt the same way once.

But our industry evolves.

I almost lost my Instagram account forever… 😱

Got this urgent email saying my Meta account was getting permanently disabled in 24 hours over a ‘DMCA violation. complete with the official looking logo, case number, and a big ‘Submit an Appeal’ button.

My stomach dropped, and I almost clicked…
But something felt off.

The sender? ➡️ noreply@appsheet.com
That’s Google, NOT Meta.

Real warnings come straight in the app or from facebookmail.com

Turned out to be a phishing scam trying to steal logins (happening to tons of creators right now).
I paused, Googled it, and dodged a bullet.

Guys! Be careful! Never click links in panic emails like this. log in directly, check your status, and turn on two factor authentication.

Let me know if you have any experience like this!
