How long have you worked at LASM?

What made you want to become a sports massage therapist?

People would come to me with real need. They were still in pain and not responding to the allopathic medical model. I feel privileged people would trust me with their time, money and health to tell them out of chronic pain.

What is a common misconception about the human body?

Biggest misconception I’ve noticed over the last 30 years of doing this is people only think of the human body as a physical structure. It is more like a continuum that incorporates input from diet, physical and dietary inputs, the most importantly from emotional stimuli. This latter can have a profound effect on the person’s health, peace of mind, even physical functionality.

What is a unique hobby of yours?

Japanese language and culture. Also my own brand of wacky humor. I am an entertainer at heart.
