What happens when you meet every athlete where they are? They find their place. They find their people. And they grow, on their own terms.

Rocky and Eli share the same court, but their paths look different. One started on the sidelines, and now he runs toward every ball. The other found his rhythm over time through trick shots and built from there.

There’s no one right way. No single timeline. Just the space for kids to grow, in a way that works for them. 💙

Every kid has a right to play.

But too many kids with autism are still on the sidelines, simply because the right opportunities don’t exist in their community.

That’s why programs like ACEing Autism matter, and why we need more of them.

If you’ve ever wondered how to help, this is a place to start.

Across the country, thousands of volunteers are making sure kids on the autism spectrum have a safe, joyful place to play tennis. 💙

We keep a 1:1 volunteer-to-athlete ratio so every child gets the individual support they deserve, but that means we always need more caring volunteers. That’s where you come in!

Volunteer with us! No tennis experience needed, just a big heart and a couple of hours a week. 🎾

We’re so excited to welcome Philadelphia to the ACEing Autism community! 🎾

Over the weekend, we launched our first program in the city in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania Men’s Tennis Team and an amazing group of student volunteers, who helped bring 8 athletes to the court for our very first clinic.

One of the driving forces behind the program is Sydney Smith, a freshman at UPenn who previously served as a Program Director in Calabasas, CA. After seeing the impact of ACEing Autism firsthand, she was inspired to bring the program to her university and expand opportunities for athletes in a new community.

There were also some full-circle moments on court. Ian, an 18-year-old volunteer, participated as an ACEing Autism athlete for five years at another Philadelphia location — and this weekend he returned to the court in a new role, giving back as a volunteer.

Moments like this are what our mission is all about: creating spaces where individuals with autism can grow, build confidence, and find connection through tennis.

A big thank you to the Penn volunteers and leaders who helped bring this program to life. We can’t wait to see Philadelphia grow! 🎾💙
