There’s nothing like celebrating the holidays with the people who feel like family! Our Adult Day Healthcare participants spent this season surrounded by the Kheir Team, sharing joy and moments that remind us why community matters.🙌

🚨 Starting January 1, 2026, Medi-Cal will “freeze” new enrollment into full scope Medi-Cal for certain adults who are undocumented or have specific unsatisfactory immigration statuses (UIS). People with these immigration statuses who are not already enrolled by December 31 will no longer be able to enroll in full scope Medi-Cal, even if they qualified before under state-funded programs. They will be limited to restricted/emergency or pregnancy Medi-Cal.

A partir del 1 de enero de 2026, Medi-Cal congelará las nuevas inscripciones al Medi-Cal de cobertura completa para ciertos adultos que no tienen documentos o que tienen determinados estatus migratorios no satisfactorios (UIS).

Last week was filled with holiday cheer! Our Muffins with Mom workshop brought families together to craft their own ornaments while learning about the importance of wellbeing with the support of the L.A. County Department of Public Social Services. 🌟 The celebration continued with our wreath‑making class, where patients crafted their own festive wreaths to decorate their homes!

A huge thank you to SoCalGas for sponsoring these weekday events and helping us spread joy. Because of your support, families not only took home beautiful decorations but also unforgettable holiday memories.💝
