We are honored to announce Maryam Brown as the Trailblazer Award recipient for Kheir’s 40th Anniversary Gala!
Maryam brings a rare combination of engineering expertise, legal training, and national energy policy experience to one of the country’s largest utilities. Known for her clarity, steadiness, and accessibility, she leads at the highest levels while remaining grounded in family and community. When the 2025 LA wildfires struck, she mobilized SoCalGasSoCalGas employees to volunteer on the ground alongside the YMCA to support displaced families, and has championed workforce development programs for women, veterans, and youth across Southern California.

For the communities Kheir serves, that kind of leadership, rigorous and deeply human, is exactly what this award was made to recognize.
