We're closing the year with some good news!

The final results for SRG Senior Living's 2025 Door Decorating Contest are in, and we have a major reason to celebrate...

After competing with communities across the country and thanks to an incredible rally by our families and friends, The Village at NorthRidge secured 3rd Place nationwide! 🥉

But the real story is how we got there. We also earned the special "Comeback Kids" Award!

In the early days of the contest, we were trailing behind. But when the call went out, this community responded in a huge way. You rallied, you tagged, and you surged all the way to the podium to sn**ch the Bronze Medal. A massive shoutout to our "Super Fans" like Maridy Salle Curry, Jennifer Callan, Eric Mark, and Helene Kaye Landsman for rallying the troops!

This award proves that our community has resilience, spirit, and the best supporters in the world. Thank you for fighting for us until the very end! ❤️

It's been a very happy holiday season at The Village at NorthRidge! 🎄

We really got into the competitive spirit this month with the SRG Senior Living holiday door decorating contest. We were so proud to take home 3rd place in the entire company-wide competition!

Our "Home for the Holidays" event was another beautiful moment that brought us all together to celebrate the season. We hope your day is filled with that same sense of joy and filled with those you love! 🎅 ❤️

Round 2 starts NOW, and we need your help bringing the grand prize home to The Village at NorthRidge! 🎄✨

After winning Round 1, Door #4 by Bonnie Faherty and Ed Feldman now represents our entire community in the SRG Senior Living Company-wide Home for the Holidays Door Décor Contest!

Bonnie and Ed have been married for 41 years and have lived here for 18 months. She's a retired CSUN professor who helped establish the nursing program, and he served as a deputy district attorney for LA County. They both love decorating and supporting the arts!

Our Taste of the Seasons, Home for the Holidays Open House at TVN was a beautiful celebration of all the special Holidays we celebrate this season. Our residents and guests enjoyed the delicious food and drinks, the festive decor, but especially enjoyed the holiday carolers that brought so much joy to our community🎄🕎❄️🎅🏼🎁

Our residents and teams at The Village at NorthRidge have been busy decking the halls, and now we want your help choosing our community’s winning door. We want to send a special thank you to Bonnie and Ed, Phyllis, Reverlee, Yvonne, Soraya and Sam, Marcia, Robert, Shelia, and Helene for pouring their creativity into these beautiful displays!

The Village at Northridge has seen some incredible milestones so far in 2025. We had the distinct privilege of celebrating a 104th birthday AND raised our glasses to a couple marking their 60th wedding anniversary! These moments remind us of the rich, beautiful histories living right here in our neighborhood.

But we didn't just celebrate the past; we embraced the present. Whether it was the brushstrokes in our painting classes, the physical endurance shown during the Tour de Zest, or the pure joy of our Pet Halloween Parade, this community remained vibrant and creative.

We are thankful for the longevity, the laughter, and the art of living well through Zest. Happy Thanksgiving! 🎨🐾🥂
