This month, we’re spotlighting our Director of Education and Experience, Janelle Watson!

Janelle has been with Growing Generations since 2017. She began her career as a s*xual and reproductive health educator and trainer in 2006 and has been a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2012. She is certified in s*x therapy and perinatal mental health and specializes in working with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, including pregnancy and fertility-related concerns. A rare Los Angeles native who still calls LA home, Janelle balances her work by spending time wrestling and napping with her English bulldog, Winnie.

Janelle supports our intended parents, surrogates, donors, and staff by providing guidance, encouraging self-efficacy, and connecting them with resources for overall wellness. We are grateful for Janelle’s dedication, expertise, and the care she brings to every person she supports!

For Kaylee, egg donation started as a way to give back, something she had always pictured for herself after hearing her mom’s experience.

This month, we're spotlighting our Lead Surrogate Specialist, Serenity Tomlinson!

Serenity has been part of Growing Generations’ Surrogate Services team since 2022. A proud mom to a teenager and two large English Mastiffs, she is also an experienced surrogate, Doula, and Gentle Touch provider.

Having completed her own life-changing surrogacy journey with Growing Generations, Serenity knows firsthand the profound impact surrogates have on the families they help create. That experience inspires her daily work—guiding and supporting surrogates through one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives.

Outside of work, Serenity enjoys sports, softball, poker nights, karaoke, and good meals. Her retirement dream is simple: lots of land, animals, and love. Fun fact: she’s currently trying to keep three plants alive—with mixed results.
