This month, we're spotlighting our Education and Experience Specialist, Jodie Meurer.

Jodie began her journey with Growing Generations in Case Management and now brings her insight and heart to the Education and Experience team. A former two-time surrogate with Growing Generations, she continues to maintain close relationships with both families she carried for — a testament to the lasting bonds created through this work. She has also served as a birth and postpartum doula for the past eight years and is certified in Perinatal and Mental Health.

A Minnesotan by birth, she’s a fan of the outdoors but enjoys winter mostly from in front of her fireplace. She and her husband live with a Great Pyrenees and 2 cats who help their empty nest feel more full! Her two sons are married, and they are anticipating the arrival of their newest family member — their first grandchild due in May!

This month, we're spotlighting our Client Development Specialist, Kellie Nesbit!

Kellie has been with Growing Generations since 2015. Her initial career path was criminal justice, for which she holds an associate’s degree. In her role at Growing Generations, she acts as the first touch point for intended parents on their path to creating their family. She supports them through providing information, having early conversations, and guiding them through the steps to begin their journey with Growing Generations.

Kellie calls the country roads of West Virginia home and loves spending time with her husband, their dog, Josie, and her mom. She’s also quite a nerd and has a soft spot for old school television, movies, and video games.
