Just put this “Tele” together for my Topanga Nephew ,Aiden MM and it is cool. Squire that had a maple neck but he wanted an all black guitar. Duncan Dual blade with split coil push pull tone pot.
Just plugged it in to test and a final set up and The Post Man rang twice with the first pedal I’ve bought in YEARS. I chose wisely.

Well,successful repair of this cracked bridge on this stunning 75 Guild D35. Bridge pulled, crack along bridge pin holes repaired( cause they don’t currently make this style[wtf]), bridge reglue. Sounds amazing!

I’ve owned this “Tex Mex Strat “ since 1997. Good guitar but the stock pickups never did it for me. A bit “dark” or muddy”.
I bought a set of Bill Lawrence Micro Coils about two years ago . I thought, incorectly, that micro coils ment “dual coil, which would mean “ humbucker”. Not correct!
So, last week a customer called needing “noisless strat pickups” He came by and I installed them. Then I read the discription on Bill Lawrence web site. Not hum canceling.Not Hum canceling.
I then installed a set of Lace Sensor Golds in his Strat and he is very happy. Super quiet.
So, I then installed these Bill Lawrence Micro Coils in this pictured guitar. Outstanding! The most “ glassy” Strat pickups ever!!
Micro coils means a short coil. They are about 60% less in height as the standard coil. Because of the shorter coil height and lower output, the noise level associated with single coil pickups is much lower, but the magnetic pull on the string is lower, they can be adjusted closer to the strings for more output.
Super glassy. Makes me think of the Strat on Frank Zappas “ Lucile “

Epiphone quick plug conversion to Seymour Duncan Pickup.
The Volume pot is push pull for coil split.
Duncan red and white to Epiphone green and white.
Duncan Black to Epiphone Red.
Duncan green and bare to Epiphone Black and Bare.
