Quarterly Culinary Update:
1. A manifestation of my culinary philosophy: practicality above presentation. I couldn’t find another protein besides the hotdog and I didn’t realize what a visual abomination this was until after I’ve already prepared the plate. However, the meal served its purpose, and was ultimately successful.
2. Dairy free chicken parm from True Food. Another visual abomination, but a culinary delight
3. Poke bowl from Flower Child-beautifully prepared and delicious. I’m not against presentation, I just don’t need it
4. A wonderful dairy free boba desert from Cobi’s: 10/10
5. A slop plate of South Asian fusion bursting with soul-enriching flavors. Also from Cobi’s. 10/10
6. Pad Thai from Natalee Thai indicative of my continued affinity for the dish
7. Bolognese from Paloma-one of the best Inkind options out there. I enjoy bolognese; however, I’ve noticed heat (temperature) seems to be an essential ingredient of this dish.
8. Island’s pineapple teriyaki burger. Not the healthiest or most delicious dish I’ve had. But I could see this dish having potential with better ex*****on. Stay tuned
9. A dairy free pizza from The Butcher’s Daughter. Egg added for protein. Dairy free pizzas are a guilty pleasure. I may take some time off of them.
10. Live shot of myself enjoying the dish in photo 1. If the hot dog were to be replaced with a healthier protein, I would advocate more for this meal because strawberries can go with anything.
