Police are searching for two suspects after an 83-year-old man was targeted in a distraction theft while using an ATM in Burbank.

Investigators say one suspect watched the victim enter his PIN, then dropped cash to distract him while a second suspect swapped his real debit card with a counterfeit. The victim later left with the fake card as the suspects used the stolen card to withdraw thousands of dollars from his account at a nearby bank.

The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for help identifying the individuals involved. Contact authorities with information and check the Citizen App for updates.
