A native of Richmond Virginia where she completed all of her preparatory education, Dr. Gail Jackson attended Howard University in nearby Washington DC where she excelled in Chemistry and was admitted to the nearby Medical School after completing all of her science requirements in two years. She was introduced to the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology and graduated from Howard University College of Medicine, accepted a residency in the Los Angeles County System of Hospitals and completed her post graduate education in OBGYN. She was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and established her private practice in the medical towers adjacent to the prestigious Cedars- Sinai Medical center. Her passion for ensuring excellent health care for all women caused her to focus on the female patient as a whole; encompassing a holistic as well as a traditional approach to health maintenance and well-being. For the first twenty-five years her practice emphasis was the female patient from the adolescence to menopausal years. During this period she performed leep conizations, laparoscopies, minimally invasive surgeries, endometrial ablations, myomectomies, hysterectomies, vaginal restoration surgeries and delivered the most gorgeous babies. During the last ten years, she has added peri-menopausal and menopausal hormone balancing to her practice. Her desire has always been to offer the safest and latest method of therapies to her patients as they transition into their forties, fifties and beyond. Her practice focus is presently wellness and bio-identical hormone balancing. She offers the convenient subcutaneous insertion of bio-identical hormones in the form of a soft pellet. This method allows a woman to achieve hormone balancing utilizing a safe, reliable convenient delivery method.
