Huge shout out and thanks to ! We’ll see y’all there - Oct. 14!
The next BIPOCalypse show on Oct 14th is a charity event and all proceeds will be donated to , a WOC owned non-profit in support of reproductive rights ✊🏽✊🏼✊🏾✊🏿.
“More than 30 years ago, a handful of CCRF member organizations joined together in order to maximize the effectiveness of policy advocacy in women’s health and reproductive rights by sharing information and coordinating advocacy efforts. From the beginning, CCRF member organizations have represented diverse constituencies, strategies, and approaches, and have worked in all arenas in which California public policy is made: Legislative, Budgetary, Regulatory, Administrative, Judicial, and Ballot Initiatives.
CCRF itself does not take policy positions or lobby specific bills, budget items or administrative procedures. Rather, we provide space, support and facilitation to our member organizations so that they can share ideas and information, build relationships and mutual understanding, and develop coordinated advocacy strategy on shared priority issues. CCRF members meet face-to-face several times a year, hold conference calls on specific issues, and maintain an email list for members to share information and alerts.
CCRF is membership-based and members must be organizations or groups that:
Have sexual and reproductive health, rights, and/or justice as a core part of their mission or programs
Desire to influence public policy that impacts California on these issues
Are statewide or local entities in California or are national with a strong California presence and constituencies who will participate in and support CCRF activities.
Fully share and support CCRF’s vision and values.
The Coalition is guided by our Values, Best Practices and Rules, a document created by CCRF leadership in collaboration with consultant Eyal Rabinovitch and our member organizations.
CCRF is a fiscally sponsored project of Tides Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and the nation’s largest fiscal sponsor.”
