Adaptive sport opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities and visual impairments.

Angel City Sports provides year-round adaptive sports opportunities for children, adults and veterans with physical differences and impairments. The organization is focused on encouraging physical activity for people with disabilities and advancing the adaptive sports movement regionally and nationally in collaboration with programs such as US Paralympics, Adaptive Sports USA, and USA Track and Field. The annual Angel City Games debuted in 2015 as the organization’s signature event. Currently hosted at UCLA, the four-day event features clinics and competition in adaptive sports and activities including track & field, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, swimming and archery. Additional programs, clinics and events throughout the year cover an even wider range of adaptive sports and are open to people with physical differences including but not limited to: Paraplegia, quadriplegia, spinal cord injury, spina bifida, amputation, limb difference, visual impairment, short stature, multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy. The organization also supports emerging school based programs through adaptive sports equipment rental, coaching education and athlete training.

This Veterans Day, we pause to honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country, exemplifying courage, discipline, and leadership both in uniform and in their everyday lives.💪🎖️

We're proud to celebrate veterans who continue to embody those same values through sport showing that teamwork, purpose, and perseverance never retire.🏈🤝

From golf to wheelchair basketball, boccia, and pickleball, this two-day celebration brought together athletes of all abilities to connect, compete, and heal through movement. Each moment on the course and court reflected the resilience that defines our veteran community.

A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Vets Whole in One and everyone who helped make this weekend possible. Your support ensures that events like this continue to give our heroes a place to belong. 💙

Angel City Sports is proud to announce the addition of Kristin Wadhwa to our Board of Directors. Kristin is a Vice President who joined Goldman Sachs in 2012 after graduating with an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. Kristin earned a BA from Harvard University and was a member of the Women’s Varsity Squash team, which earned the Division I National Championship. Kristin currently serves as a board member of Lime Connect, a national non-profit organization that prepares university students with disabilities for careers with the world’s leading corporations. She also serves as the Co-COO for the Goldman Sachs Disability Network, the firm’s employee resource group for people with disabilities, caregivers, and allies. We are grateful for her support and contributions to our mission, vision and values as we head into LA28.
