Celebrating Dr. Omeed Haji-Amiri in our Alumni Spotlight!

Ten years ago, Dr. Omeed Haji-Amiri was an undergraduate student at who started in the Health Scholar program at Health System. Flash forward to today, he’s now in his first year of residency as an emergency physician.

He attributes experiences in this program to helping him find his true calling and we couldn’t be more proud of him or more excited for the impact he’ll have in emergency medicine!

From a Health Scholar at Hoag Presbyterian Memorial to an Emergency Medicine Resident at the University of Mississippi, his journey inspires us all.
