Yesterday’s Project Warm Winter was a huge success, and it’s all thanks to the incredible energy of our volunteers! Thank you to everyone who showed up and gave their time.

We are especially grateful for Dr. Williams Awodeha, our RCA advisor, 's continued support. Your commitment to our projects is truly inspiring.

From a migrant farmworker to a space shuttle astronaut, the journey of José M. Hernández is a true inspiration! We were honored to have him as the Grand Marshal for the 79th East Los Angeles Mexican Independence Day Parade & Festival.

Cal State LA marched in the parade for the first time, celebrating heritage and community alongside our students, faculty, staff, and even the Cheer Squad!

Thank you to President Berenecea Johnson Eanes, Senator Sasha Renée Pérez, and everyone who attended this historic event.
