We are Coming together in Communi-Tea to honor the fall equinox and reconnect with our Ancestral Medicine for the purpose of remembering, healing, and keeping our holistic self in balance and harmony. We focus on the  intention of  immersing our energies in a healing experience that integrates our ancestors’ spiritual healing practices with curanderismo  y remedios naturales (natural remedies). 
This Community Healing and Integration Circle will be rooted in our ancestral Curanderismo practice. It will be facilitated by the Cura-Té Collective.
Our focus tea, Conecta-Té, for this event’s circle is Cacao based. -te -te

Join us for this meditative sacred monthly gathering designed for those desiring to embark on an inner journey and deepen connection to self and spirit. You will be led on a vision quest that encourages the expansion of consciousness beyond the physical realm, allowing your mind and body to open up to a spiritual journey.

In this journey, we come together in community to reconnect to our ancestral wisdom and medicine in an organic, holistic way for the purpose of remembering, healing, and integration. The cultural healing practices in this circle are heart-centered and compassionate, and created naturally. Yesi and Ricardo will lead you to sacred spaces using ancestral techniques, including breathwork, visualization, sound, songs, drumming, and rattling.

During this monthly journey, you may:
* Meet your spiritual guides and power animals that support your life journey to heal or let go of what no longer serves.
* Start to build a relationship with your spiritual guides to trust in life’s lessons and your personal growth.
* Learn techniques to quiet the mind and allow for connection.
* Integrate Ancestral Wisdom and expand your consciousness in community
* Receive Collective Wisdom, Insights, Bendiciones (Blessings), and Regalos (Gifts) for the greater good of all ... self, family, community, and our world.

We are coming together in Communi-Tea to reconnect with our Ancestral Medicine for the purpose of remembering, healing, and keeping our holistic selves in balance and harmony. We focus on the intention of Relaja-té in order to immerse our energies in a healing experience that integrates our ancestors’ spiritual healing practices (curanderismo) y remedios naturales. 

This community healing and integration circle will be rooted in our ancestral curanderismo practice. It will be facilitated by the Cura-Té Collective. Our focus teas for this event are made with refreshing jamaica (hibiscus) and mint. 

EVENT EXPECTATIONS:
* Participate in a guided meditation journey to connect with the energy of our focus teas to receive their healing gifts.
* Learn about the beneficial energetic and physical properties of jamaica/ hibiscus and mint. 
* Add personal items to the community altar. These items may include but are not limited to crystals, feathers, jewelry, etc.  
* Sit and interact in the sacred circle with circle participants.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
* The healing circle will be capped at 20 participants to make it a personal and intimate experience.

Let’s be real—Obama’s immigration policies weren’t perfect. But they were rooted in law, not fear.
Here’s what he did right:
✅ Created DACA to protect DREAMers
✅ Tried to expand protections with DAPA (blocked by GOP states)
✅ Launched the CAM Program so Central American minors didn’t have to cross alone
✅ Directed ICE to prioritize threats—not parents, not workers
✅ Challenged Arizona’s SB1070 “show me your papers” law in court—and won
✅ Issued guidance to avoid tearing U.S. citizen families apart

Yes—he could’ve done more to overhaul the system. But what’s happening now?
🚨 Military-backed raids
🚨 ICE in courthouses and schools
🚨 Journalists being removed from detention sites
🚨 Political theater dressed up as “law enforcement”

This isn’t just policy. It’s cruelty. And it should alarm all of us.

Cantos for Life & Love

Community support and healing…

If we want peace, love and equanimity in this world, we have to make space for peace, love and equanimity to live inside us.  If we want Love, we must be the Love we want.  If we want Peace, we must be the Peace.  

Cantos for Life and Love is about creating a space inside us for love to be seeded, cultivated, grown and shared. This is the only reason we gather.

With Meditation, Poetry, Songs, and Prayers, together we plant the seeds of compassion and cultivate LOVE, KINDNESS, COURAGE and HEALING for our community.

What to Bring: Your open heart, drums, medicine songs, prayers, and poetry. Chair or cushion for sitting, flowers for community altar.
This will be an outside event. Bring a wide-brim hat for the sun.
