Very encouraging data on treating patients with cystic fibrosis with triple therapy! These patients also almost always have severe sinusitis.

Thirty years after scientists discovered the defective gene that causes cystic fibrosis, two new trials show a therapy could help 90 percent of patients. The FDA approved the triple drug, Trikafta, five months ahead of its deadline.

Just came back from New Orleans and the American Rhinologic Society Annual Meeting presenting our research. Still amazed that we won Best Clinical Paper! Can't thank my friends and collaborators enough - Dr. Evan Walgama, Thomas Higgins, and Jonathan Ting. Plus I think we did some real good helping docs to reduce op**te prescriptions and use NSAIDs instead!
