Not all heroes wear capes…

Some roll in with hoses… heart… and zero hesitation.

Hooking up one of my OG patients ….William Asad, of ….

When the Pacific Palisades fires hit…
and the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine was surrounded… William, alongside his son Nicky and daughter Gabriella didn’t wait. They moved.

Day two…
on site…
coordinating through radios…
extinguishing spot fires…
protecting sacred ground.

Seven hours straight…
then back again…
and again…
for three days…

Even took a moment to rinse soot off the swans...
That’s devotion.

William …. a former legendary yoga teacher…
living on a houseboat in Marina del Rey…
tracking the fire from the moment it broke…

He knew what was at stake. And stepped in with his family.

They’ll tell you it was fueled by the prayers of devotees across the globe…

I believe it.

People ask: ‘What’s going on with me?’
First, there’s the stressor. Sometimes it’s a sledgehammer, sometimes it’s a whisper.
It’s physical. It’s chemical. It’s emotional.
It’s the electromagnetic static of the world.
You have to scan the brain. Every level.
Every layer. Find the origin of the tension the body couldn’t smooth out. That’s the subluxation. Once that hits? You’re in sympathetic territory. You’re in the red.
Time to get back to neutral.

A calm breath… maybe a soft exhale.

She screams. Loud…. Real loud. The first time it happened it scared the absolute life out of me. Now I just brace myself and wait for the soundtrack. Honestly… it might be the most honest nervous system response in the whole office.

Also… she’s hilarious.
If you’ve never seen her comedy, go check it out.
She even had a killer set on Kill Tony back in the day.

Great patient. Great comedian. Terrifying adjustment.
