"Swan" Lindsey McEvoy, is the owner of the mobile business, The Art of Hearing, LLC, based out of Los Angeles, California. While Swan will soon obtain her "audiologist" licensure status in California, she also has a hearing aid dispenser's license. She has also earned her doctorate degree in audiology (hearing science) from Pacific University, a bachelor of science degree in human services with a minor in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. Swan founded The Art of Hearing, LLC in 2014. She plans to raise awareness on a global level to help educate and practically address the issue of increased hearing loss across ages and cultures. She uses her expertise to provide educational workshops and cutting edge practical solutions such as ear impressions, custom filtered hearing protection and in ear monitors. The target populations for The Art of Hearing are people in any loud environment, specifically music concerts, military forces, and industrial workers. WHY she does it…
Listening to music was healing and therapeutic for Swan at a time when she desperately needed hope. Therefore, it made sense to Swan to give back to musicians, an underserved population when it comes to utilizing her skills in hearing healthcare. Having the vision of her mobile business throughout graduate school motivated Swan to stay diligent and focused because she saw then end goal in sight. Now that the dream has come to reality as she has stepped up to make a radical change in how society views and utilizes hearing healthcare today.

Who she is… “Swan” (Lindsey McEvoy, HAD) is the owner/founder of the mobile business, The Art of Hearing, LLC, based out of Los Angeles, California. Swan was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She has earned a Doctorate degree in Audiology (hearing science) from Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. She has her California Hearing Aid Dispenser license and plans to soon obtain full “audiologist” licensure. She enjoys serving people, photography, science, music and yoga.
