We spend MORE. We survive LESS. 🇺🇸
South Korea's stomach cancer survival rate is 68%.
America's? 37%.
That's not a gap.
That's a failure.
And the worst part?
It's not because we lack the science.
It's because we lack the system.

A 2024 study in the Journal of Dental Health, Oral Disorders & Therapy comparing 10 high-income countries ranked South Korea 2nd globally for dental care outcomes — ahead of the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.

Here are the verified numbers behind that ranking:

Scientists spent decades trying to destroy cancer.
Korea said — what if we just told it to stop?

At KAIST, researchers built a molecular switch that reprograms colon cancer cells back into healthy ones. Not chemo. Not radiation. Reversal.
It worked in animal trials. Human trials are next.
This is a world first.

And it's happening in Seoul. 🇰🇷

Let's talk about cancer survival rates.

Real numbers.
Verified facts.
No fluff.

In the 1990s, Korea's overall cancer survival rate was under 45%.
Today it's 70.4% — and still climbing.
But the specific numbers are where it gets impossible to ignore.

Stomach cancer — 77% survival rate in Korea.
In the US? 35%. Same cancer.
More than double the outcome.

Thyroid cancer — 99.7%.
Breast cancer — 90.6%. Both figures sit above the US, Europe, Japan, and Canada. Colorectal cancer — 95–98% survival for Stage 1. The world's highest survival rate even for advanced stage patients. Achieved through robotic surgery so advanced that Korea is now globally recognized as the world's "Mecca" of robotic surgery.

And the cost of cancer treatment in Korea?

As low as one-fifth of what you'd pay in the United States.
This didn't happen by accident. In 1996 Korea launched a national program with one mission — conquer cancer through early detection, world-class hospitals, and surgical precision that no other country has matched at scale.
The result? 1,000 foreign doctors fly to Seoul every year — not as patients, but as students. Korean cancer treatment techniques are now listed in global oncology guidelines used worldwide.
When the world's doctors come to Korea to learn, and the survival rates back it up —
The conclusion writes itself.
