From day one of our Credible Messenger program, Adrian and Raymon have been a part of our journey. Here are photos of them returning to BJN in 2022 as free young men and now in 2025 as young adults.

Once you're a part of the HDA family, our support doesn't end — we continue to walk alongside them, strengthening our bond and celebrating their growth every step of the way.

We are honored to continue facilitating Restorative Justice classes inside CMC, CIW, CIM, and RJD.

At CMC, our class is beautifully facilitated by Sister Greta, whose compassion and wisdom guide meaningful dialogue and healing.

Each visit reminds us of the power of transformation, accountability, and hope within our prison communities.

Our last meeting at Scotty’s with Edwin was filled with laughter, memories, and gratitude. Though he’s moving on to a new chapter, we’ll always be a team—connected by the spirit, purpose, and heart we built together.

We were grateful to facilitate Nancy's Victim Offender Dialogue at Mulecreek State Prison yesterday. This afternoon she got the opportunity to share her story with the Office of Victims Services and the Secretary of CDCR Jeff Macomber. 🙏🏻

After six years of dedication and service, we bid farewell to our colleague and friend, Edwin, as he embarks on a new chapter with ARC. 💙 This is not the end — we know he will continue to carry the HDA spirit wherever he goes. Edwin will always have a home here, and his HDA family wishes him the very best in all his future endeavors.

Our monthly meeting for our family support group was a success.

In this group, we bring together mothers and families who have a child in juvenile hall. As the group has progressed, a few of the children have come home, but our support doesn't stop there. We continually welcome the women back as they navigate their children's transition into society. This group is created for and by the community!
