Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a treatment in which a patient breathes pure oxygen while inside a pressurized chamber in order to restore cell and blood vessel growth, rebuild bones, kill infection, and speed the body's natural ability to heal. It is a Medicare and American Medical Association approved therapy used to treat numerous health conditions, diseases and illnesses such as: non-healing wounds (internal and external), radiation damage and burns from cancer treatments, bone and tissue infections, compromised flaps and grafts, gangrene, reconstructive surgery, and many more. Bay Area Hyperbarics is committed to providing the best possible care in a welcoming environment. Our mission is to help you heal. We recognize that each patient has unique health care needs, and we offer personalized and compassionate care to each of them. The treatment is relaxing, non-invasive and painless. While receiving treatment, a patient can watch a movie, listen to music, meditate, or sleep.
