Dear families,

We hope you are well and getting ready for school! We wanted to send a couple reminders.

1. Complete your sports physicals now
Please schedule your sports physical now to get your paperwork done before school. Due to popular demand, we are now offering NEW Wednesday morning hours to accommodate more appointments.

2. Schedule your flu shot
We are holding a special Saturday clinic for vaccination and appointments on 09/20, 10/04, 11/01, and 12/06. The is a great time to get your flu shot and complete your annual physical. RSV vaccines are also available for eligible infants under 8 months. Please call to secure an appointment for the flu shot for the whole family, including parents!

3. Coughs and Colds
With the beginning of school, we anticipate seeing lots of children with cough, congestion, and fever. We offer rapid COVID test, Flu test for Influenza A/B, RSV test, and Strep test in our office—you will have results within 15 minutes. If your child does have a cough and fever, our staff will discuss your child’s COVID risk with you.

**April Update**

We hope you are well and enjoying the longer, warmer days. We wanted to send a couple reminders.

1. Please confirm your appointments through text message
We have implemented a new text message appointment reminder system. You will receive texts from the number 48432. Please respond to messages from this number. You should receive reminders 72 hours and 24 hours before your appointment.

2. Get updated on measles vaccine before spring break
Consider ongoing measles outbreaks as you plan your spring break plans. It important to get your child their measles vaccine, especially before travel.

Children are eligible for their first measles vaccine at 1 year, and their second vaccine at 4 years. You can check your child’s vaccination status on the MyHealthOnline portal. Call our office to make a quick vaccination appointment.

Dear families,

Hope you are well and getting ready for 2023! We wanted to convey the following updates:

1. Schedule updates and Wednesday openings
In order to expand availability for our patients, we plan to offer in person and telemedicine appointments on Wednesday mornings in 2023. We will offer appointments on select Saturday mornings and also stay open on Monday January 16th for Martin Luther King day.

Both Drs. Neela and Sejal Parekh will be out from Feb 1st to 17th. There will be a covering pediatrician available during that time. Please call our office to schedule an appointment.

2. Annual physicals for college students
Make sure to schedule your annual physicals and checkups before the end of the year. It is important to complete vaccine, labs, developmental screenings and emotional assessments for your children.

3. Get the COVID vaccine at our office
We offer COVID vaccinations and bivalent boosters for children 6 months – 18 years. Please call to reserve your spot.

We are excited about the passage of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act! This act bans the "sale of dangerous and unsafe crib bumpers and inclined sleepers nationwide."

As always, the "the safest sleep environment for babies is a firm, flat, bare surface."
