Well, here I am again asking for prayers and blessings. Tomorrow, Thursday the 10th I will be having a rather daunting surgery. My bladder cancer has come back and the best way to deal with this is to have my bladder and prostate removed. Thank God I am being treated at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto where the vast majority of surgeons come from the prestigious Stanford school of medicine. The surgery could last from three to six hours and I will be hospitalized up to a week depending on how well things go. I will give you updates as time passes.

Working as a consultant and trainer for world renowned Hazelden services of Minnesota, I developed a curriculum dealing with distorted thinking, substance abuse and anti-social behavior.

As a recovering addict himself, I am able to understand and connect with people who have trouble admitting that they need help or who are afraid of what that help might look like. I am a passionate advocate of recovery, who brings hope and change to families in crisis.
