River Oaks Place, Loudon was originally constructed in 1939 as the Loudon County Hospital and named after the legendary Loudon businessman and philanthropist, Col. We purchased the three story brick building and have totally renovated the property with 40 suites. The lower floor is Assisted Living with two floors designed and renovated as a secure, assisted living environment for memory-impaired residents. Our signature theme of providing caring family-like atmosphere in a comfortable, dignified, yet cozy setting is very evident here. The six acre wooded hilltop location offers wide, open views of the countryside and nearby Tennessee River, yet is only a few blocks down Grove Street from banking, cafes, the Loudon County Courthouse and historic district, and the new riverfront Loudon County Senior Center.
