It’s always a good day when the Skyways come to sing for us! 🎶
Our residents truly enjoy singing along to the old gospel songs they grew up with—it brings back so many special memories and fills the room with joy.
One of our very own residents, Oliver, even joins in and sings for us while the Skyways play along and back him up. Moments like these are what make our days so meaningful!

Every Wednesday, we are blessed to welcome Brent Crass with Caris HealthCare for our morning devotion. It’s always uplifting to hear the message God has placed on his heart to share with our residents.
These moments bring comfort, encouragement, and joy to everyone who attends.

🐰🌸 Easter Fun at Lakewood Place! 🌸🐰
We had such a special day today with a visit from the Easter Bunny! She joined us for our movie, helped our cook in the kitchen, and even took time to let our residents love on her. 💛
There’s nothing better than seeing the smiles and joy on everyone’s faces—it truly lit up the whole room! 😊

Our residents have been excited and looking forward to this one! Because it’s such an epic film, we’ll be enjoying it in two parts so everyone can take in the full experience.

As always, our Thursday co****le game brought out some fierce competition! Everyone came ready to win, and the excitement was in the air with every toss.
In the end, only one could take the top spot—congratulations to Ron Cunningham! 🏆
Great job to everyone who played. Most importantly, we had a wonderful time filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of fun!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Natalie Baker, our newest LPN nurse here at Lakewood Place!
Natalie is a recent graduate of the nursing program at TCAT Knoxville. Many of you may already recognize her—she has been a valued part of our Lakewood family for years as a caregiver. Through dedication and hard work, she took the next step to further her career and become a Licensed Practical Nurse 👩‍⚕️
When asked what inspired her to become a nurse, Natalie shared, “I’ve always enjoyed taking care of people.” 💙
Outside of work, Natalie loves spending time with her family and is excited to begin this new chapter in her career.
We are so proud of you, Natalie, and grateful to have you continue your journey with us!

Today we got creative and made 3D pictures—and what a transformation it was! At first, there were a few “What in the world are we doing?” moments, but before long those turned into “Wow, look what I made!”
