Hello to you all!!

In an effort to offer more cranio sacral therapy relief to our community, this Saturday, April 11, after our 10am yoga class, I will be offering 15 minute sessions for FREE for two individuals. You can not be a current or former CST client. This is to help potential new clients find the benefits of CST. I will start at 11:15 am, and 11:40am.
If you want on the books send a DM. The first two responses will be selected. I’ll confirm the time with you so please be available for either time.

If this is something well received I may add it more frequently to help others also find the benefits of CST.

Due to a mix up I just realized that Foundations was listed on our website for Tuesday evenings, however, it is on Mondays.
Join me tomorrow at 6pm, for the last Foundations series until this fall/winter. There's a few additional sign up spots available on our website. And it's still discounted if you purchase in advance.
Foundations is meant to help you go from zero yoga knowledge, or even some and just looking to deepen your practice, to a point where you're comfortable practicing on your own or coming to public classes and following along with ease.

Classes are Mondays at 6pm, and taught in a series that last for six weeks. Each week it's 90 minutes worth of instruction and full of information to help you get on your mat and go!

Iron Yoga starts back up again this week on Thursday, 03.26.2026, at 5:30pm. Let's take a look at what it's really all about!

What is Iron Yoga?
Iron Yoga is a full-body workout developed by Anthony Carillo in the early 2000s that integrates weight training exercises into power yoga poses. As a nationally-ranked Ironman Triathlete, Carillo was no stranger to forging the connection between mind and body: the ironman includes a 2.4 mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run, all within a 17 hour- time limit! Carillo found himself watching a yoga class on TV one day and experienced an instant sense of calm. He began practicing yoga and learned that his weaknesses (breath, inflexibility, and balance) would drastically improve his abilities in triathlon if he turned them into strengths. He began incorporating yoga into his training regimen and as a result, felt stronger, flexible, streamlined, balanced and powerful.

According to Carillo, “I opened up a whole new energy source by incorporating a proper manner of breathing. At the same time, I sharpened my focus and concentration skills, which are so important during training and competition. Most important, yoga was keeping me healthy and injury-free and accelerating my recovery time from intense workouts and races.” Eventually Carillo combined common weight-training exercises with his favorite yoga poses to develop “Iron Yoga.”

Iron Yoga is rooted in the principles of both yoga’s mind-body-spirit connection and weight training’s mind-muscle connection. An Iron Yoga class will include a combination of standing, seated, prone and supine poses as well as isolation and compound exercises, or movements. An isolation movement targets only one muscle group (ie. bicep curl, tricep kickback), while a compound movement combines two or more joints and targets large or primary muscle groups (ie. chest press targeting the back and shoulders using the elbow and shoulder joints).

This combination of weight training and yoga will help you:
improve lean muscle mass
increase flexibility and range of motion
sharpen mental focus and concentration skills
develop proper breathing techniques
enhance functional strength and muscular endurance in your legs and core areas
reduce stress and tension
create balance and symmetry in both body and mind.

New Class:
Foundations is returning for another six weeks. Starting Monday, April 7, through May 12, at 6pm. This will be the last Foundations series until Fall/Winter 2026.

If you're new to yoga, experienced and just looking for further education, then this class is for you. RYT Tim Cowan will lead you through a once-a-week class, for six weeks, designed to help you learn how to start from nothing to being able to complete a full Sun A and Sun B flow, perform seated poses, twisting poses, leg and arm balances, breathwork, a mindfulness practice plus more. You'll be able to jump into our Saturday classes (or other vinyasa classes at any studio) with ease after Foundations.
Classes start at 6pm, and last 90 minutes.

Space is limited to six people in this class. Sign up in advance at a discounted price for all nine hours.
