Earlier today, the Maria Parham Franklin Behavioral Health team celebrated our new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with a ribbon cutting and open house.

“With the support of our community, we’re continuing to bring vital services back to Franklin County and the region” said Bert Beard, CEO of Maria Parham Health. “Behavioral Health has a far broader reach — because of demand, we’re serving individuals from across the state, not just within our own community.”

Suzi Tipton, Regional Director of Business Development, and Daren Taylor, Market Director or Operations, both from the Lifepoint Behavioral Health team, were also in attendance. “Today is more than a ribbon cutting; it is a meaningful step forward in expanding access to compassionate and comprehensive behavioral health services for the people of Franklin County (and beyond)” said Suzi. “We know that mental health needs continue to rise across our communities, and it is our privilege to help meet those needs with excellence, dignity and respect.” The Lifepoint divisional team has supported the opening of Maria Parham’s IOP.

We’re grateful to all who stopped by to learn more about the IOP, meet our team, and tour the newly renovated space. We are proud to open these doors and offer hope, healing and high quality care to those who need it.

Maria Parham Franklin is excited to announce the launch of our new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults 18+. This program offers structured, evidence-based support for those facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma/PTSD, and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.

Our IOP provides flexible, group-based care from licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers—perfect for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require inpatient treatment.

Referrals are required, and each patient begins with a confidential assessment to determine the best plan of care. If you or a loved one is struggling, we’re here to help you take the next step toward wellness.

Big news for Maria Parham Franklin!

Construction is wrapping up on our Emergency Department renovation. This new space, which creates an improved patient care area, is a big advancement for our patients and the community. It offers a safer, more supportive environment for those facing behavioral and mental health challenges.

Yesterday we celebrated with a ribbon cutting and open house — thank you to our valuable community partners who attended! We’d like to give a special thank you to Pastor Rosby for leading us with a thoughtful invocation, The Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce for the ribbon cutting, and Confetti Pop Party Co. for the gorgeous balloons to help us celebrate!

Happy early Thanksgiving from Maria Parham Franklin! Our wonderful dietary team prepared a Thanksgiving feast for staff, including turkey & ham, paired with all the delicious sides, and a yummy array of desserts.
