Great River Autism Connection is bringing together local individuals, families, caregivers, and organizations for a morning filled with support, encouragement, connection and fun!

Rain or shine — strollers and wagons are welcome!
(Please no bikes, roller skates/blades, or skateboards.)

Join us for a magical afternoon designed with all families in mind!

Enjoy a calm, welcoming environment where children can meet Santa at their own pace — no loud noises, flashing lights, or overwhelming crowds.

Opportunity to take photos with Santa in a sensory-friendly setting

A chance to connect with other local families.

On December 8th, the Saint Louis Zoo's Wild Lights is hosting a sensory-friendly night for neurodivergent guests with sensory sensitivities. This special night mirrors the traditional Wild Lights experience, but also includes sensory maps, quiet areas, smaller guest capacity, reduced flashing lights and loud sounds, and a Calming Cart.

Trained Zoo staff are also available to assist individuals with sensory sensitivities throughout the event. Additionally, the Zoo will offer a limited number of KultureCity sensory backpacks to check out and use during the event. These bags include headphones and sensory regulation tools. New this year, they have sensory backpacks designed for guests who need manipulative tools that are safe for chewing. Bags must be returned at the end of the evening.
